Dampness engulfs
though tears dont flow
sand, guilt; bury me
I hear nothing yet I scream
the earth too heavy; stays
stale air surrounds,
breath eludes
Three feet of emptiness
six feet of dirt
hands give up
reaching out
Stillness binds
as I let go
eyes remain open
eternity ends
Eaten by bits
the rest decays
as I pass through
the earth remains
Buried alive
I died living..
